Back in April, I had the honor of capturing Born Ready Ink—Ace Boogs’ Black-owned tattoo shop on 25th Street in Charles Village, where the block itself is rooted in Black ownership. Artists Raggs, Machine Mystic, and Maszi brought pure heat to the lens, and I also got to shoot Convalescence, Ace’s self-made tattoo balm built for the healing process.
